Our highly-trained members are carefully selected and trained to demonstrate compassion while providing tangible solutions to disaster-stricken communities in areas such as:
UNCA Rapid Response Teams strive to deploy into a community within 24 hours to investigate damages while sending team members within 48 hours to support preliminary efforts. Through training, UNCA members are also equipped to treat the three life-threatening injuries by opening airways, controlling bleeding, and treating for shock. Members are also trained to provide basic medical aid, search for and rescue victims safely, as well as organize agencies and spontaneous volunteers to be effective.
